Your daily diet is a key part of managing hypertension. But knowing how much and what to eat isn't always so simple. The National Institutes of Health offer a handy DASH Eating Plan. This Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension doesn't require special foods or complicated recipes.

You know too much salt is not good for you.
The challenge is finding all the salt hidden in processed and prepared foods. About 75% of our salt consumption comes from processed and restaurant foods.
