Children’s Miracle Network is a national non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children’s hospitals in communities throughout the United States and Canada. Countless individuals, organizations and media partners unite with Children’s Miracle Network hospitals to help sick and injured kids in local communities. Donations to Children’s Miracle Network create miracles by funding medical care, research and education that save and improve the lives of 17 million children each year.
Bakersfield Memorial Hospital is the local Children’s Miracle Network hospital in Kern County.

Memorial pediatrics department cares for more than 3,500 children as inpatients every year.
Memorial’s neonatal intensive care unit cares for nearly 300 tiny babies each year.
More than 9,000 children are seen in the emergency room and as outpatients at Memorial every year.
Children’s Medical Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital is being developed to include NICU, Pediatrics and soon will feature Kern County’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, the only one of its kind between Fresno and L.A.
